Essential Application Guidelines

For optimal performance and safety, please follow these key guidelines:

• Always Use with FIX-IN AT: FIX-IN SL must be used in conjunction with AGC FIX-IN AT double-sided tape. The tape provides initial tack, ensures the recommended 3-4 mm ventilation gap for proper curing, and supports the glass during the curing process.
• Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust and grease. For porous substrates like wood, particle board, or concrete, it is necessary to prime the surface with AGC FIX-IN PR Wall Primer.
• Important Note for Safe+ Film: When installing glass with a Safe+ safety backing, it is mandatory to pretreat the film with AGC FIX-IN SA surface activator. This step is crucial to guarantee a secure bond and prevent unsafe situations.
• Application Method: Apply the adhesive in vertical beads on the substrate using the provided V-shaped nozzle. Full-surface bonding is not recommended to ensure proper curing and ventilation behind the glass.
